NARS Blush Duo Palette – Review

Hello Loves,

A news that would excite all the beauty junkies here in the Middle East and mainly the ones in UAE is that, we now have a swanky new NARS boutique open at the Dubai Mall. i absolutely couldn’t contain my excitement when I first spotted the work in progress going on – I mean yeah…It was too good to be true!! If you have been reading my blog posts then you would know that I’m a NARS addict and there is something magnetic about this brand. I’m crazily in love with its Sheer Glow Foundation and you can read the review here, followed buy the world famous blush in Orgasm, my go-to NARS matte red jumbo lipstick and the celebrity and bblogger top fav concealer of all times – NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. This blog post is going to be about my latest splurge – the NARS blush duo in SIN/CASINO.

Packaging

The packaging is in black matte and looks extremely luxe and classy. I love how the brand name is written on the casing and appears to be uniquely different and stands out. The closure is quite intact – no worries about product breakage during travel or even otherwise. It contains two colours – blush(left) & bronzer(right). The matte casing is quite prone to collecting dust and fingerprints but thats with all things matte – high maintenance after all!

Colour & Texture

SIN has gorgeous berry hue with a gold micro shimmer to it – looks brilliant at night. Although, for the day time I would suggest going easy with the coverage and blending in as much as possible to refrain looking too over the top. What I really like about this colour is that, it settles down to a hint of mauve which is oh-so-amazing and there is none like this in the market. NARS is known for its iconic blushes with Orgasm topping the list to being the cult fav and this is just a berry tone to the same texture. I’m so glad I’ve got my hands on both. Its hard to make out what the texture really is in the pictures, you will have to try it on to figure it out best – its just a magical finish hands down. I love wearing the shade with a matte nude pink, dark berry lippie or a cool toned lip colour.

The bronzer comes in the shade CASINO and this palette totally gives me Vegas vibes – talk about the SIN city & the line up of CASINOS, Vegas has you covered. The reason I purchased this palette was for the duo combination. I mean, this is match made in heaven! Such a fabulous bronzer that works perfectly on medium skin tone and has micro shimmer to it. It works great as a contour as well. I’m pretty sure I will be running out of this bronzer in no time. It looks gorgeous during the day time and makes the skin look warm and healthy.. I love the finish as its highly pigmented and that holds true for SIN too. The colours are totally buildable and stay on for long hours. Wearing both the blushes in the pic down below:

Overall, this is one palette that I believe every beauty junkie needs to have in their makeup stash. Outstanding performance in terms of coverage, quality, texture and longevity. The colours and quite unique – very NARS like. NARS addicts will also be able to spot the colours your wearing. I would highly, highly recommend buying this palette – its on a pricey end coz its NARS but you get the bang for your buck.

Hope you enjoyed reading the post. I would love to hear from you on your fav NARS products?
