Hello Beauties!! The highlighter talk – Becca has finally launched here in the UAE, and will be available in stores from 1st June. Such a relief for all the Beccaholics! I mean, no more placing orders online or perhaps getting people to send them over to you.
Becca needs no introduction, as the world seems to know about it and it has taken the industry by the storm for its cult highlighters, which MUA’s, beauty bloggers and makeup addicts can’t stop raving about. The highlighters come in 6 shades and there is one for everyone from colours ranging in pearls, to champagne, to rose gold and hues of copper. Becca has covered it all. It is one of my favourite highlighters and joins the league with the Marylou Manizer by TheBalm Cosmetics. If you haven’t read my review on the Marylou Manizer, you can click here.
The pressed powder sits in well in a slate grey packaging, that is quite sturdy. So thats a plus. It also comes with an inbuilt mirror. Great to be carried around while your travelling too! The coverage is luminous, and to start with, that is what highlighters are made for. It has a creamy finish when applied and settles on the skin beautifully like thats the place to be(high points on the face). It shines on through the day and can fade towards the dusk hours and you might need to touch up or use a makeup setting spray. I love the finish as it looks the closest to natural and you won’t get surprised if you receive compliments on how much your skin has been glowing. The texture is shimmery, yet not powdery/flakey at all which is perfect for a flawless finish.
The colour in Champagne POP a.k.a C POP is a collaboration with a renowned beauty blogger Jacklyn Hill and has her name printed on the gorgeous rose gold packaging as well. It is one of the fastest selling and the most raved about highlighters, making it the best what the industry has to offer! It is a great shade for fair-medium tones.

I would highly recommend spending that extra buck to get the glow you’ve be wanting. The ultra fine luminescent pearls are the ones that shine through and its not any ordinary highlighter made with shimmer. That also justifies the money you spend on the product. I would like to highly recommend this highlighter, if you are on a lookout for one and if highlighting is something that is right up your alley!!
The Becca shimmering skin perfectors are also available in liquid and cream formulas.
Hope you enjoyed the post! I would love to hear from you on your favourite highlighters and suggestions on other brands as I would love to try them out as well.
