The Max Factor All Day Primer has been around for quite sometime and is raved about by makeup artists all over. I was sent a goodie bag by Max Factor and I decided to review the primer to start with. Max Factor is a great drugstore brand with a line up of stunning lip hues, foundations that are quite well known amongst the beauty industry and other makeup. My association with the brand goes back to my flying days where most cabin crew raved about the compact powder while touching up their makeup onboard(Little memories attached)!!
Three steps to a flawless looking face is the right moisturizer for your skin, followed by a primer and then the foundation. You always prime a canvas before you paint it, right? Using a primer is one of the most essential base for the foundation to sit well and glide on perfectly on to the skin.
The Max Factor All Day Primer is an excellent foundation base and contains SPF 20. Great for those who don’t want to lather extra bit of SPF after the moisturizer. The primer gets absorbed into the skin really well, minimizing pores and prepping up the skin for all the makeup to follow. It helps the makeup stay in its place all day long – tried and tested! It has a subtle matte finish which is perfect for the T-zone and is quite light weight in texture. Once, absorbed you don’t even feel like there is anything there.
It comes in a glass bottle with a gold detailing that looks pretty chic and the pump dispenser is quite convenient and helps to control the amount of product required.
The All Day Primer is two thumbs up for me. If your on a lookout for a drugstore primer I would highly recommend going for this one. Its totally worth the hype and is a brilliant product. I’ve been using this every single day after I’ve got my hands on it. I love, love, love it, totally! I will be repurchasing it when I run out of it.
